Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patient health status through comprehensive physical examinations and medical history reviews.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team and the patient.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, making timely adjustments to care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-treatment care.
- Document all patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact state license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments quickly.
