Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in diverse hospital settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient progress with electronic health records
- Ensure strict adherence to JCAHO standards and facility-specific protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately and timely
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong clinical skills in at least one specialty area
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
