Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in emergency, critical care, or med-surg settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and code blue events
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in District of Columbia or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Experience in telemetry, ICU, or emergency departments
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
