Responsibilities
- Delicate patient care in specialized units (ICU, ER, Telemetry)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate medical documentation
- Adhere to JCAHO and facility protocols
- Provide patient education and discharge planning
- Assess and respond to emergent situations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in DC or compact state
- 2+ years recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN considered with experience)
- Successful background check
- Flexibility with 12-hour shifts
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Travel nursing experience preferred
