Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in various clinical settings including ER, ICU, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems
- Maintain strict compliance with hospital protocols and healthcare regulations
- Adapt quickly to new environments and facility-specific procedures
- Provide mentorship and orientation to facility staff as needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with Epic or Cerner EMR systems preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
