Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with healthcare protocols and state regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and adjust individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress closely and respond promptly to changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active, and unencumbered RN license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care nursing experience required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different hospital units and locations as needed.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by the facility.
