Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms, responding swiftly to any changes in condition.
- Document accurate and timely patient history, symptoms, and treatment progress.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, adhering to infection control standards.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Texas or a Compact state.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting (Med-Surg, ICU, Telemetry, or ER preferred).
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or equivalent based on specialty requirements).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
- Willingness to travel and adapt quickly to new environments and facilities.
