Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and perform emergency procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and electronic health records
- Adhere to hospital protocols and JCAHO standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
