Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient records using advanced EMR systems
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and hospital protocols
- Provide mentorship to nursing staff during orientation periods
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN considered with experience)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and systems
- Strong time management and prioritization abilities
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
