Responsibilities
- Provide critical care for post-surgical, trauma, and complex medical patients in ICU setting
- Administer advanced cardiac life support and ventilator management protocols
- Utilize provided equipment including arterial lines, ICP monitors, and rapid response systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient stabilization and care planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation standards
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
- Educate patients and families on post-ICU recovery protocols
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (Compact License acceptable)
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience in acute care hospital
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with provided equipment: ventilators, arterial lines, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with flexible schedule
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
- Pass background check and health screening
