Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical specialty (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, Telemetry)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per facility protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions using EMR systems
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to all JCAHO, OSHA, and facility-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Mexico or compact state
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in acute care setting
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant specialty certifications (e.g., TNCC, ENPC)
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC, Cerner preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
