Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care based on physician orders and established nursing protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established safety and legal standards.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and treatment responses accurately and promptly in the EMR system.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to develop and modify individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and intervene immediately if critical changes occur.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Valid state ID and proof of residency (if applicable).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
