Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate direct patient care in acute care or specialty units.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop optimal patient care plans.
- Document patient data accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital safety and infection control policies.
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning processes.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (or compact state).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient advocacy.
