Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with facility protocols and state regulations.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document vital signs accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective care plans.
- Perform tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and other specialized procedures as required.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment while adhering to infection control standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
- Adapt quickly to new electronic health record (EHR) systems and unit cultures.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience (ICU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Ability to travel and work 13-week consecutive assignments.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude and a passion for patient advocacy.
