Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and outcomes accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or compact state.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent nursing experience in a specialty setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (others may be specific to role).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
- Willingness to travel for short-term assignments.
