Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities immediately.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, progress, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and code blue activations.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana (or compact state eligibility).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a specialty area (ICU, Med-Surg, Telemetry, ER, or similar).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Current PPD/TB screening and negative drug screen results.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for temporary assignments and adapt to different facility policies.
