Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through history taking, physical examination, and review of medical records.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and clinical goals.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor patient progress and intervene as necessary to prevent complications.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment in accordance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or a compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a clinical setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification required (others may apply based on specialty).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and team dynamics.
- Willingness to travel for short-term assignments.
