Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and report any changes to the nurse or supervisor.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, reducing feelings of isolation.
- Prepare meals according to special dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medication as directed by the supervising nurse.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social activities, or shopping trips.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
