Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care activities, including vital signs, progress notes, and responses to therapy.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and adapt quickly to changing patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona or compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-functioning team in a fast-paced environment.
