Job Overview:
As a Travel RN, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We are looking for professionals who are adaptable, skilled, and ready to make a difference.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and post-care instructions.
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations with calmness and clinical expertise.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Louisiana (or compact state license).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of a high-volume healthcare setting.
