Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and high-quality patient care in accordance with facility standards and nursing protocols.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vitals and symptoms closely, documenting all observations accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to all infection control and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license issued by the Florida Board of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a specialty area (e.g., Med-Surg, Telemetry, ICU).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and varying shift schedules (nights, weekends, holidays).
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status as mandated by facility policies.
