Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and responses to treatment with precision.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety and infection control regulations.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical times.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous performance improvement.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in good standing for the state of Missouri (or compact state eligibility).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong computer proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as necessary.
