Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in specialized units (ICU, ER, Telemetry)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient vitals using EMR systems
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control standards
- Provide patient/family education on treatment procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and state regulations
Qualifications
- Active TN RN license or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in specialty
- Current ACLS, BLS, and specialty certifications
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Cerner a plus)
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
