Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with medical standards.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, monitoring patient response.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and treatment progress in electronic health records (EHR).
- Monitor patient condition and intervene immediately in emergency situations.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and disease management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment following infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience (preferred for travel roles).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and team dynamics.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
