Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in assigned clinical specialties (ICU, ER, Telemetry, etc.)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Adhere to facility protocols and maintain accurate documentation
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and regulatory standards
- Provide orientation and mentorship to unit staff as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP for pediatrics)
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Flexibility to adapt to new clinical environments
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in fast-paced settings
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
