Responsibilities
- Delicate patient care in diverse clinical settings including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform diagnostic procedures per protocols
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and facility-specific regulations
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training programs
Qualifications
- Active NJ RN license or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; ACLS preferred
- Experience with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Willingness to travel within 50-mile radius of Jersey City
