Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety regulations
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and facility committees
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (or compact license with CA endorsement)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Specialty certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS) highly valued
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Flexibility to adapt to new environments and protocols
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to travel and commit to 13-week assignments
