Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in specialized units (ICU, ER, Telemetry)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Document patient assessments and progress accurately in EMR systems
- Provide education to patients and families on health conditions
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
- Adapt quickly to new clinical environments and protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (additional certifications based on unit)
- Graduation from accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to new healthcare systems quickly
