Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform diagnostic procedures per protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide patient education and support to promote optimal health outcomes
- Participate in shift handovers and team meetings for continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
