Responsibilities
- Process and submit clean claims to insurance companies with 95%+ accuracy
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits using electronic verification tools
- Resolve claim denials and rejections through targeted appeals
- Perform account receivables follow-up and collections activities
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Collaborate with clinical staff to clarify coding discrepancies
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical billing experience in a clinical setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Proficiency in Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar EHR systems
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial details
