Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings (ICU, ER, MedSurg)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and hospital protocols
- Adapt quickly to new clinical environments
- Maintain patient confidentiality and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license (compact license accepted)
- 2+ years recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Flexibility for 13-week assignments
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner preferred)
- Ability to pass background/drug screening
