Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient appointments.
- Take and develop dental X-rays and digital images as directed by the dentist.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols at all times.
- Manage patient records and update dental charts accurately using our software.
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive, welcoming experience.
- Provide post-operative instructions and answer patient questions.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
- DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) certification preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- Valid California dental assisting license.
