Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress accurately
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital infection control standards
- Participate in emergency response procedures and rapid assessment situations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing with DC Board of Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; TNCC/PALS preferred
- BSN degree strongly preferred
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
