Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical settings including ER, ICU, or Med-Surg departments
- Adhere to facility protocols and maintain accurate medical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Assess patient needs and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications per facility guidelines
- Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear communication channels
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and state nursing regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
