Responsibilities
- Assess patients' medical conditions using standardized triage protocols
- Collect and document comprehensive patient histories and vital signs
- Communicate critical patient information to physicians and care teams
- Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary departments
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients and families on emergency procedures and resources
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Ohio
- Minimum 2 years ED or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
- BSN degree or higher preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
