Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls via telephone and triage according to established protocols
- Provide clinical guidance to patients and families regarding appropriate care levels
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
- Document patient interactions accurately in EMR systems
- Monitor patient conditions and escalate critical cases promptly
- Educate patients on self-care management and preventive measures
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficient in telephone triage protocols (TDS or equivalent)
- Strong assessment and decision-making skills
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities
