Responsibilities
- Assess patients' medical conditions using standardized triage protocols
- Provide emergency care coordination and prioritize patient acuity
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Document assessments and interventions in Epic EHR systems
- Delicate patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and state nursing regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN)
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- TENEN or ENPC certification required
- BSN degree preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
