Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks related to client care.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is highly preferred.
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and assist patients up to 50 lbs safely.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help the elderly population.
