Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize emergency cases based on medical urgency
- Perform comprehensive health screenings and initial patient evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians to develop immediate care plans
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Provide critical communication between patients, families, and medical staff
- Oversee triage protocols during high-volume periods
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada
- Minimum 3 years emergency department or triage experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- BSN degree preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
