Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telephone and in-person triage to determine priority level
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to develop appropriate care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clear medical instructions and patient education
- Coordinate patient flow and emergency department resources
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 3 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English and Spanish
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
