Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care based on medical urgency using standardized triage protocols
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families to coordinate emergency care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide education on health conditions and preventive care measures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient flow
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
