Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient acuity using standardized triage protocols
- Provide accurate medical information to patients and families via phone and in-person
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for critical patient cases
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Implement infection control and emergency response procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate care pathways and resource utilization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Strong interpersonal communication abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
