Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via phone triage and in-person evaluations
- Prioritize cases based on medical urgency using ESI protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with detailed documentation
- Provide clear patient education on home care and follow-up instructions
- Manage emergency situations following established ACLS/BLS protocols
- Coordinate with ancillary departments for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license (required)
- Minimum 3 years emergency/urgent care experience
- TAS or ESI triage certification (preferred)
- BSN or higher degree (required)
- ACLS and BLS certifications (current)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Proficiency with Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
