Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and triage calls using standardized protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care levels and interventions
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems
- Provide critical health education to patients and families
- Coordinate care with emergency departments and specialty providers
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and state nursing regulations
- Support clinic workflow during peak hours
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication abilities
- Proficiency with electronic health records
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Spanish bilingual preferred
