Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize emergency cases using standardized triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop patient care plans
- Document patient histories and symptoms accurately in EMR systems
- Provide clear communication to patients and families during critical situations
- Maintain efficient patient flow through the emergency department
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Supervise LPNs and medical assistants during shift coverage
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
