Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient acuity using standardized triage protocols
- Provide accurate clinical guidance to patients via telehealth and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Document patient encounters with precision in Epic EHR systems
- Implement emergency response protocols for critical situations
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and state regulatory standards
- Lead patient education on health management and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Bilingual English/Spanish certification mandatory
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in high-pressure environments
