Responsibilities
- Assess incoming patient calls and walk-ins to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Provide clear medical guidance over phone and in-person triage situations
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Implement emergency protocols for critical patient situations
- Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up procedures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
