Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments using ESI (Emergency Severity Index) protocols
- Prioritize cases based on medical urgency and acuity
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient flow
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide critical communication to patients, families, and care teams
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to HIPAA and emergency department regulations
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license with minimum 3 years ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree or higher strongly preferred
- Expertise in ESI triage and rapid assessment protocols
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
