Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls using standardized protocols and clinical judgment to determine urgency
- Provide accurate medical advice and instructions to patients via phone, telehealth, and in-person
- Collaborate with physicians and emergency teams to prioritize patient cases
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient transfers and discharges with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients on appropriate healthcare resources and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio
- Minimum 3 years emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- BSN degree preferred
