Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and prioritize triage levels based on acuity
- Collaborate with physicians and emergency teams to coordinate urgent care protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide clear communication to patients and families during high-stress situations
- Monitor vital signs and interpret diagnostic test results
- Oversee patient flow in the emergency department
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Proficiency in Epic or EHR systems
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
